Atlas de la Ciencia Mexicana (ACM) is a project that is integrated to the CONACyT social network "Complejidad, Ciencia y Sociedad". The general aim of ACM is to build statistical databases on the scientific and technological activity developed in Mexico. This data is used to generate indicators on the evolution of each area of knlowledge and to make them available to a large audience.  View.

Foreword

The 2010 edition reflects the evolving status of the scientific activity in Mexico since 1900. For the first time in our country, it includes detailed statistical information on the scientific production and citation as reported by the international indices within the period 1900-2009.   View.

Mexican Science in XX Century


Presentamos los indicadores bibliométricos básicos, correspondientes a la participación de México en la producción de conocimientos de corriente principal durante el siglo XX, divididos de acuerdo a las tres grandes áreas del conocimiento utilizadas por los índices del ISI-Thompson (Science Citation Index(SCI); Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) y Arts and Humanities Citation Index(AHCI), reagrupados en el Web of Sciences: (I) ciencias exactas y naturales (CEN); (II) ciencias sociales (CS) y (III) humanidades (H).
